I’ve stayed at The Line Hotel twice this year on two different occasions. The Line Hotel is situated in Los Angeles, in the Koreatown neighborhood. It is in the heart of Koreatown, on the corner of Normandie and Wilshire blvd. The hotel is owned by Sydell Group, a hotel group that also owns the Saguaro in Palm Springs and Arizona, The Nomad in New York City and also the Freehand in Miami. During my stay in January, I had stayed in a Hollywood Hills view king room. Its so nice to wake up in the morning to see the Hollywood Hills and distant views of the Griffith Observatory from the floor to ceiling windows.
On my second trip to LA, I had stayed in a studio room in April for the weekend to be in close proximity to my friend’s wedding venue. I have to say that I love the size of the studio room, its slightly more roomy than a king and you have views of the Shepard Fairey mural on the side of the building.
Like any other millennial girl, I like brunch. Brunch at Commissary in The Line Hotel is so wonderful. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the hotel, set in an open air glasshouse. I love the communal tables, the mismatched plates, cups and napkins.
I recommend the mimosas and brioche eggs benedict. The coffee beans are courtesy of Lamill coffee, one of my favorite coffee roasters in LA. Lamill makes strong espresso, just what I need to get through my day.
