Cruising around Coachella Valley with the Mazda CX-9

I had the Mazda CX-9 for about two weeks for Coachella Weekend 1 and Weekend 2. During weekend 2, my friend Ryma cruised around in the car around the desert during Coachella Weekend 2. We went to second weekend of Coachella for work with W Magazine. The car was courtesy of Drive Shop.

We took the car to look at mid-century modern homes, to the Saguaro hotel, to palm tree farms and also the Doug Aitken house. The car drove well on the dirt roads near the palm tree farms in the desert. I enjoyed driving the Mazda. It is great for road trips however the gas tank is a bit too small for the size of the vehicle. We loved the bluetooth, navigation controls and the blind spot detection. Great car, would really recommend.
